At the Bowie Kettlebell Club in Bowie, Maryland, we offer an authentic Russian approach to fitness training using the traditional kettlebell and self-defense classes.We service clients in Bowie and the surrounding communities, sharing more than 30 years of experience helping people like you learn new things to keep themselves healthy, flexible, and strong. Our jont mobility class provides a way to rejuvenate the body through a series of simple exercises everyone can learn.

Chief Instructor Marvin King has held the Russian Kettlebell Certification (RKC) since 2006. He has been an active Personal Trainer certified through the National Council of Strength Fitness (NCSF) since 1999. Additionally he is well versed in a variety of Martial Arts and other self-defense instruction based on principles founded in Tim Larkin’s system for self protection.

PROTECT
YOURSELF

The Bowie Kettlebell Club in Bowie, Maryland, offers effective self-defense training based on reality situations. Students must be over 18 years-of-age for the training, and each class is one to two hours. Each class has a four-student minimum. Our self-defense training classes are assigned on an individual basis and student will sign a waiver. Students with special health needs must have a doctor’s approval. All training is conducted in our studio using real-life situations.

Qigong (pronounced Chi-Gong) calisthenics are one of the oldest breathing and movement exercise programs known to man. Qigong calisthenics incorporate a combination of Taoist breathing patterns along with specialized movements to promote self-healing. Evidence of Qigong calisthenics has been recorded back 1800 years ago with a set of movement exercises called the 5 animal frolics to be considered by many the oldest form of Qigong.
